EAST STROUDSBURG – Prior to the annual East Stroudsburg University men's soccer team's alumni game, Larry Wallace '63, co-captain of ESU's NAIA National Championship team in 1962 kicked off the contest on Saturday afternoon at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
ESU's 1962 NAIA National Championship team was dominant, posting a 12-1 record and outscored its opponents by a mark of 52-13, under legendary head coach John Eiler.

Wallace has now played soccer on an ESU soccer field in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and now the 2020s.
The 1962 Warriors' Soccer Team was inducted into the ESU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011.
