EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University athletics has announced the return of JP Nolan '22 and Eric Rigg '23 to the administrative staff prior to the 2023-24 season.
Following his five seasons with the Warriors' baseball team, Nolan is back to serve as the Coordinator of Athletic Camps and Events. The Glenside native earned his bachelor's degree in sport management from ESU in May of 2022 and is currently pursuing his master's degree in management and leadership with a concentration in sport management. He most recently served as a graduate assistant within the camps and conferences department at ESU.
On the mound, Nolan appeared in 53 games (six starts), holding a 5-1 record and 3.47 ERA in 85.2 innings to go along with 71 strikeouts. His 53 appearances are tied for the ninth most all-time in program history.
After serving as an assistant coach for the men's basketball team and a graduate assistant in the tutoring department at ESU, Rigg returns as the Coordinator of Athletic Business Operations. During his two seasons on the hardwood, the Warriors complied 42 wins and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time in program history during 2022-23.
He oversees all business operations for the athletic department including budgets, policies and procedures, travel and contract fulfillment and managing all athletic student workers.
Rigg earned his bachelor's degree in professional sales and marketing in 2021 from Bloomsburg University. At Bloomsburg he served as a student assistant with the men's basketball team and a student assistant for the athletic department.
