EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The East Stroudsburg University Athletics Department has announced the hiring of Taylor Nelson as the Coordinator of Athletic Business Operations. Nelson joins East Stroudsburg after working at Union College of Union County, N.J. (UCNJ), Seton Hall University, and coaching women's basketball at the high school and collegiate levels.

"Joining East Stroudsburg University Athletics is an exciting milestone for me, and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a respected department," Nelson said. "Throughout my career, I've been passionate about supporting student-athletes and helping athletic programs thrive behind the scenes. I'm looking forward to building strong relationships, learning from an outstanding team, and contributing to the continued success of Warrior Athletics. I can't wait to get started."

Nelson comes directly from UCNJ, where she most recently served as the College Life and Athletic Operations Coordinator. Since 2021, Nelson has managed all operations across the college's 14 varsity sports, directed logistics for major championships, and reintroduced three programs to advance institutional growth and student-athlete opportunity.

Prior to working at UCNJ, Nelson spent time at Seton Hall University as a Student-Athlete Development Compliance Intern. She gained hands-on experience supporting student-athlete development through the H.A.L.L. and SHECan programs, which connected student-athletes with leadership activities, life skills programming, and community engagement opportunities. Nelson also has two years of experience coaching women's basketball, serving one year as an assistant coach at Plainfield High School and one at UCNJ.

Nelson graduated from Dominican University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences and from Montclair State University in 2021 with a Master of Science degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in Sports Management at Troy University.
