EAST STROUDSBURG – Following an AFCA All-America Second Team campaign in 2022, the Fred Mitchell Award selection committee announced on Friday that Devin Bartholomew was one of 34 student-athletes at the FCS, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and NJCAA levels that was recognized on the Fred Mitchell Award Preseason Watch List.

The Fred Mitchell Outstanding Place-Kicker Award is an annual award presented to the nation's top collegiate place-kicker among more than 750 FCS, Division II, III, NAIA and NJCAA football teams.

A two-time All-PSAC East selection, Bartholomew made 17 of his 23 field goal attempts a season ago, including 11-of-13 from inside 40 yards. He ranked third nationally in field goals per game, 32nd in field goal percentage. In points scored this season - among all players - his 79 points rank 46th in NCAA Division II and fifth in the PSAC. The Parkland High School product was a perfect 28-28 this season on PAT attempts, improving his collegiate career mark to 57-57. The Warriors have made every point after touchdown the last three seasons (97-97 PAT), including its previous 99 attempts dating back to the 2018 season finale.
