LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – For the third consecutive week, an East Stroudsburg University men's soccer goalkeeper has been honored as the PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week, as Brayden Evans has been selected for the second time in three weeks, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.

In the lone match of the week, Evans made eight saves in a 0-0 scoreless draw against first-place Millersville on Saturday evening.

In four games, Evans (3-0-1) has allowed just two goals in 340 minutes of action, holding a goals-against average of 0.53 with 13 saves and a save percentage of .867. Among national and PSAC leaders Evans ranks third in the PSAC and 22nd nationally GAA, 15th in DII and second in the conference in save percentage and ranks third in league in shutouts.  

The Warriors are idle until Saturday, when ESU battles Shippensburg on the road. The matchup is set for a 4:00 p.m. start at SU.
