YORK, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University swimming team posted strong performances at the site of the upcoming PSAC Championships, finishing sixth at the PSAC Fall Invite and third at the PSAC Fall Sprint Frenzy on Friday at the Graham Aquatic Center.
Notables
- ESU finished sixth with 163 points at the PSAC Fall Invite and third with 230.5 points in the PSAC Fall Sprint Frenzy.
- Anique Hazebroek notched a pair of PSAC qualifying times in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.64) and the 100-yard freestyle (55.33). The sophomore from the Netherlands has now qualified for a team-best four conference events this season.
- Kennedy Leveto added her second PSAC qualifying time in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.94), finishing runner-up.
- Tamara Engler placed second in the 50-yard breaststroke (31.59).
How It Happened – PSAC Fall Invite
- 400 Medley Relay: ESU's A-team of Ava Palochik, Leveto, Avery Fohring, and Vera Renshof took eighth, adding 26 points to the Warriors' score with a time of 4:16.65.
- 200 IM: Hazebroek led the Warriors, taking 15th among 26 competitors in the 200-yard individual medley (2:24.18). Helia Wang added two points with a 17th-place finish (2:30.84).
- 100 Fly: Fohring led six Warriors in the event, placing 11th (1:03.00).
- 200 Free: Hazebroek tallied her first PSAC qualifying mark of the day, clocking 2:00.64 for fourth place. Anna Stauffer (9th, 2:03.01) and Renshof (10th, 2:03.31) also posted top-10 finishes.
- 100 Back: Mackenzie Spence finished 19th (1:07.15), leading the Warriors and adding three points to the team total.
- 100 Breast: Leveto secured second place (1:09.94) with a PSAC qualifying time, while Engler placed fifth (1:10.71). Stauffer added team points with a 14th-place finish (1:12.89).
- 400 Free Relay: ESU's A-team of Brianna Wasem, Stauffer, Leveto, and Renshof finished 11th (3:53.99), while the B-team of Sophia Fishman, Nina Marchese, Palochik, and Emily Gambler finished 15th (4:02.21).

How It Happened – PSAC Fall Sprint Frenzy
- 200 Medley Relay: ESU started strong, with the A-team finishing sixth (1:53.56) and the B-team finishing eighth (1:55.50), combining for 56 points.
- 100 Free: Hazebroek secured her fourth PSAC qualifying mark of the season, finishing fourth (55.33). Gambler (16th, 58.78) and Fishman (20th, 59.03) also added points.
- 50 Breast: Engler placed second (31.59) and Stauffer took fourth (32.24) in a top-five performance.
- 50 Free: Renshof (T-5th, 25.23) and Wasem (7th, 25.47) both placed in the top 10, while Stauffer finished 12th (25.56). The trio combined for 36.5 points.
- 50 Fly: Hazebroek (13th, 28.54), Leveto (T-14th, 28.56), and Marchese (17th, 29.52) all placed in the top 20.
- 50 Back: Palochik led ESU with an eighth-place finish (29.39), while Grayauskie (17th, 31.54) and Alyssa Brown (19th, 32.67) also earned points.
- 100 IM: Leveto placed eighth (1:04.33) to close out individual events.
- 200 Free Relay: The A-team of Wasem, Stauffer, Hazebroek, and Renshof finished fourth (1:40.98). The B-team of Grayauskie, Marchese, Gabby Ciesla, and Fishman placed 18th (1:50.75), adding the final two points for ESU.
