EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg men's soccer team held on to an early lead to defeat Bloomfield, 2-1, in non-conference action at Eiler-Martin Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Warriors (6-4-2, 3-3-1) scored early in the first half to take a 1-0 lead over the Bears (1-8-2, 0-6-2). The Warriors struck again in the 75th minute to make it a 2-0 match. Four minutes later, the Bears broke the shutout, bringing the final score to 2-1.

- Benny Goodrich scored the match's first goal off a long pass from Nathan Bradway in the third minute.
- Jace Seara netted his first career goal, giving ESU a 2-0 advantage, he was assisted by Cayetano Diaz.
- Sander Meintjes of Bloomfield kept the Bears in the game with seven saves in 69 minutes of play, allowing the lone goal in the first half.
- Despite the final score, the Warriors controlled the game, outshooting the Bears 24-8, with a 11-4 advantage in shots on goal and a 19-0 edge in corner kicks.
