LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The East Stroudsburg University volleyball team (14-5) won 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-16) against Georgian Court (11-8) on Thursday evening at the GCU Wellness Center.

How It Happened
- Set 1 (25-18): The Warriors went on an 8-3 run to start the set, but the Lions responded with a 4-0 run to bring the set within one. Both teams kept it close until ESU went on an 8-2 run to make the score 20-13. The seven-point lead proved decisive as the Warriors won 25-18.
- Set 2 (25-16): The second set was a bit closer, with GCU again bringing the score within one at 10-9. From that point, ESU took control and went on a 15-7 run to close out the set 25-16 and take a 2-0 lead.
- Set 3 (25-16): The Warriors opened the set with a 5-3 lead, looking to complete the sweep, but an 8-3 run by GCU would put the Lions up 11-8. ESU got back on track with a kill by Abramson, sparking an 8-0 run to retake the lead. From that point on, it was all Warriors as they won the final set 25-16 to complete the sweep of GCU.
