PSAC Scholar-Athlete (2023)

2024 Season Highlights: Sophomore middle blocker Rachel Abramson made a significant impact in her second season, appearing in 85 sets and finishing with 54 kills, 35 total blocks, and 74.5 points. She posted a season-best 7.5 points in a three-set win at Shippensburg (Nov. 19), where she tallied 5 kills and 4 total blocks.

Abramson also delivered standout performances with 3 blocks and 4.5 points at Shepherd (Nov. 1), and hit a season-high .833 in a sweep of Georgian Court (Oct. 24).

Graduate Student (2023) (Season Stats): Played in five matches, making one start ... recorded nine kills and 13 digs ... notched a season-high five kills vs. Shaw (9/2) and six digs vs. Bloomsburg (10/14). 

Akron (2019-22): Appeared in 35 matches and 87 sets in three seasons at Akron ... recorded two kills, 22 digs, one assist and seven aces. 

Background: All-time kill leader at Verrado HS with 868 kills … team captain during her senior campaign … team MVP … named Regional Offensive Player of the Year … earned All-Conference Honorable Mention as a junior and was named to the All-Region Second Team during her sophomore season … member of the Arizona Sky Volleyball Club ... pursuing her masters degree in public administration at ESU.
