KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Led by graduate student
Daniella Napoli, the East Stroudsburg University women's cross-country team finished third at the 2024 PSAC Championships on Saturday morning at the North Campus Farm Loop Cross Country Course.
Before the season, the Warriors were picked to finish fourth in the PSAC Preseason Poll. Their third-place finish is the team's highest since 2017, when ESU placed second. This marks the sixth time the Warriors have finished third.
ESU earned three First Team All-PSAC honors and one Second Team All-PSAC honor.
First Team All-PSAC honorees Napoli (22:12.7) and sophomore
Payton Falkenstein (22:43.6) finished in fifth and sixth place, respectively. Sophomore
Carla Bautista (23:13.8) secured 15th place.
Sophomore
Gabriela Orama (23:32.2) received Second Team All-PSAC honors with her 25th place finish.
Junior
Megan Elgrim (23:53.8), sophomore
Mia Sisilli (23:55.1), and freshman
Riley Trentowski (24:09.2) ran well together, finishing 40th, 41st, and 43rd to round out the Warriors' top seven.

Marissa McDougall (24:50.6) and
Sidney Hutt (26:03.6), and sophomores
Tara Haring (26:26.7) and
Alex Chobany (26:38.1).
This marked the first time since the 2015 season that ESU produced four All-PSAC performances, and it was the first time since 1981 that three Warriors finished in the top 15.
