EAST STROUDSBURG – In the fourth quarter of a scoreless contest, Minke Klijn registered the lone goal with just over 11 minutes to play, lifting the No. 3 East Stroudsburg University field hockey team to a 1-0 shutout win over Millersville on Wednesday afternoon at Whitenight Field.
The Warriors (10-2, 2-1 PSAC) secured their third consecutive win, while the Marauders (6-5, 2-2 PSAC) suffered their second conference loss.

Klijn's ninth goal of the season came in the 49th minute, assisted by Jady van Gils, who had been named the NFHCA National Player of the Week earlier in the day.
