LANCASTER, Pa. – Highlighted by a school-record-breaking performance by Anique Hazebroek and an NCAA 'B' cut time by Vera Renshof, the East Stroudsburg University swimming team sits in ninth place out of 12 teams at the Franklin & Marshall Invite following Saturday's final events.
Friday Notables

Anique Hazebroek finished third in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:05.96, breaking her own school record of 5:05.97 set last season.

Vera Renshof took fourth in the 50-yard freestyle, achieving an NCAA 'B' cut time of 23.67, her season-best.

The 400-yard medley relay team of Ava Palochik, Tamara Engler, Avery Fohring, and Renshof finished ninth (3:58.35), improving their seed time by nearly 18 seconds. Another ESU relay team featuring Mackenzie Spence, Kennedy Leveto, Emily Gambler, and Brianna Wasem tied for 15th place.

Anna Stauffer, Leveto, Wasem, and Renshof took 10th in the 200-yard freestyle relay, while Gambler, Sophia Fishman, Engler, and Palochik placed 19th out of 24 teams.

Three Warriors earned their first PSAC qualifying marks on the day: Palochik in the 50 free (25.50) and 100 back (1:00.76), Spence in the 100 back (1:02.31) and Gambler in the 100 fly (1:00.89).

Brianna Wasem posted her fourth conference mark of the season in the 500-yard freestyle (5:25.42), while Helia Wang picked up her second PSAC time with a 5:26.19 in the same event.

Fohring notched a time of 2:17.11 in the 200-yard individual medley, earning her third PSAC time of the season.

ESU ended day one in eighth place with 162 total points.
Saturday Notables

Fohring placed 13th in the 100 fly, clocking a time of 59.22 in the finals.

Renshof came close to another NCAA 'B' cut in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing second with a time of 1:53.49. Hazebroek placed ninth in the event (1:55.84), while Wasem (1:57.99) finished 15th, earning a PSAC time with her preliminary time of 1:57.85. Stauffer won the C-Final to take 17th (1:57.66).

In the 100-yard breaststroke, Leveto finished 12th (1:06.98), and Engler placed 20th (1:08.32).

The 200-yard medley relay team of Palochik, Leveto, Fohring, and Renshof took 12th (1:50.34). Spence, Engler, Gambler, and Wasem placed 18th (1:51.73).

Gambler earned another PSAC time in the 100 fly (1:00.89).

Palochik recorded her second PSAC time in two days with a mark of 1:01.65 in the 100 backstroke, becoming the first Warrior to qualify in the event this season.

The Warriors finished day two of the three-day meet with 308.5 points, ranking ninth out of 12 teams.
