EAST STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University volleyball team celebrated Senior Night with a sweep of West Chester (25-20, 25-17, 25-18) on Friday night inside Koehler Fieldhouse.
The Warriors (16-7, 6-5) bounced back after two losses last weekend and remain tied for third place with Millersville. The Golden Rams (12-13, 4-7 PSAC East) fell following a pair of wins last weekend.

How It Happened
S1 (25-20): With West Chester leading 9-7, the Warriors went on a 5-0 run to take a 12-9 lead. The teams continued to exchange points, with ESU maintaining its advantage. Clinging to a 20-18 lead, the Warriors closed out the set with a 5-2 run.
S2 (25-17): ESU dominated the second set from the outset, building a 10-1 lead that extended to 18-6. WCU narrowed the gap to single digits at 22-13, but the Warriors cruised to a 25-17 victory.
S3 (25-18): Seeking the sweep, the Warriors established a 9-5 lead before WCU tied the set at 9-9. ESU regained control with a 12-4 run, taking a 22-14 lead. On match point, Birtcil sealed the win with a final kill from Haan, as the Warriors celebrated Senior Night.
