MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Following a tough road loss at nationally-ranked Kutztown, the ninth-ranked East Stroudsburg University lacrosse team bounced back with a 16-8 victory against Millersville on Saturday afternoon at Biemesderfer Stadium.
The Warriors (8-4, 4-3 PSAC East) return to their winning ways, while the Marauders (3-7, 1-5 PSAC East) fall in their fourth straight contest.

- GK Abby Simonetti (W, 4-4) picked up the win with 10 saves. She allowed just four goals before departing after three quarters.
- GK Bella Gismondi made three saves, while allowing four goals over the final 15 minutes of action.
How It Happened
- Roth and Mitarotonda opened the scoring, before Millersville's Rachel Keeney scored the first goal of the contest for the Marauders. ESU kept momentum, closing the first half on a 7-1 run to take a 9-2 lead into the second half. Six different Warriors accounted for the seven goals, with Graffeo scoring twice in the run.
- The third quarter featured just four goals combined, with each team scoring twice, as the Warriors maintained a seven-goal lead at 11-4 heading into the final quarter. Mitarotonda and Hallman both scored goals in the quarter.
- With 15 minutes remaining, Millersville sliced the deficit to as low as five at 12-7, but ESU closed the game strong with four of the final five goals, to earn the 16-7 win.
