NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its Academic Honor Squads and Honor Roll student-athletes for the 2025-26 academic year, naming East Stroudsburg as a team recipient with 15 individual winners.
 
357 schools across all three division levels and the NAIA, including 58 Division II institutions, earned the team award. To qualify, teams must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the 2025-26 academic year. The IWLCA named 568 student-athletes from 65 Division II teams to its 2025-26 Academic Honor Roll. Qualified student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. East Stroudsburg was one of 10 PSAC institutions to be named an Honor Squad, while the Warriors' 15 Honor Roll student-athletes were tied for the fifth-most in all of Division II.
 
ESU's Honor Roll recipients were Molly Atwell (Exercise Science), Jamie Butt (Middle Level Education), Julianna Callison (Exercise Science), Lauren Hallman (Nursing), Sydney Jarka (Hospitality and Tourism), Mia LaBarca (Special Education and Early Childhood Education), Lindsay Langella (Special Education and Early Childhood Education), Paige Moreland (Sport Management), Alexis Neumen (Business Management), Molly Riva (Physical Education), Hannah Schiemer (Early Childhood Education), Abby Simonetti (Management and Leadership), Ariana Tucci (Business Management), Emily Varilla (Physical Education), and Rachael Zabko (Biochemistry and Math).
 
The Warriors enjoyed their best statistical season in program history, making it to the NCAA Semifinals, setting multiple team and individual records, and receiving some of the top national, regional, and conference awards. In addition to its prowess on the field, ESU has earned plenty of recognition for its work in the classroom as well. Sadie Kauffman (Early Childhood Education) and Varilla were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, with Kauffman advancing to the national ballot and receiving First Team All-American honors. Kauffman also became the program's fifth player to be named to the PSAC Spring Top 10, which combines academic and athletic excellence to honor five male and female student-athletes across the conference in each season of the academic year. The Warriors had 10 student-athletes named to the inaugural PSAC Academic All-Conference Spring team, giving ESU 71 total student-athletes, and had 33 players be named PSAC Scholar Athletes, giving East Stroudsburg 333 to lead the PSAC.
 
The IWLCA is a membership-led, professional association representing the nation's intercollegiate women's lacrosse coaches within Division I, II & III of the NCAA, and the NAIA.
