EAST STROUDSBURG – Despite putting up 22 more shots than Lock Haven, the East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team could not find the back of the net, settling for a scoreless draw with the Bald Eagles on Wednesday evening inside Eiler-Martin Stadium.
The Warriors (4-1-2, 2-1-2 PSAC East) move into a tie for third place with Kutztown with the draw. The Bald Eagles (1-2-1, 1-2-3, PSAC East) sit in seventh place in the division with four points.
Notables
- ESU held a 26-4 advantage in shots and an 11-2 mark on shots on goal. ESU posted nine corner kicks, holding LHU without an opportunity.
- Lock Haven goalkeeper Megan Miller made 11 saves to keep the clean sheet. Warrior goalkeeper Emmy Clarkson stopped both chances sent her way.
- Rebecca Kotula (3), Natalie Schooley (2), Maddie Lamb (2) all tallied multiple shots on goal for the Warriors
