LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — Redshirt sophomore
Adam Noll was announced as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Special Teams Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon following his performance in East Stroudsburg's 24-7 win over Shippensburg.
Called on three times last Saturday, Noll delivered in each situation. The Robesonia native put together an average of 43 yards per punt, putting all inside the 20-yard line and pinning Shippensburg on its seven-, 12-, and 13-yard line. Noll also booted a 58-yard punt from his own 30-yard line to flip the field and allowed the Warriors' defense to continue its dominance against the Raiders. The Warriors held Shippensburg's offense scoreless for the second-straight meeting against the Raiders, with starting field position playing a significant role.
Noll earned the honor twice last season, with this marking the first time he's been named the top special teams athlete in the conference this year.
The Warriors are riding a six-game winning streak and own a 6-1 record heading into their last two road matchups of the season. First on the schedule is Shepherd this Saturday, Oct. 25, followed by a must-see matchup against Kutztown on Nov. 1.
