EDINBORO, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg women's cross country team claimed the 2025 PSAC Championship title for the first time in program history Saturday morning.
East Stroudsburg and Edinboro tied with 77 points each, however ESU won the tiebreaker 3-2 in top five finishes. Edinboro placed second and Bloomsburg rounded out the top three with 103 points. The Warriors had five All-PSAC team finishers.
Junior Payton Falkenstein crossed the line first for the Warriors with her fourth place finish (22:41.0) to repeat as an All-PSAC First Team honoree and topped her sixth place finish from last season. Freshman Sarah Williams (6th, 22:42.9) and sophomore Riley Trentowski (14th, 23:13.5) followed closely, each claiming All-PSAC First Team honors for the first time in their careers.
Junio Mia Sisilli (26th, 23:40.7) and sophomore Kiera Wimbush (27th, 23:41.5) finished back-to-back to earn All-PSAC Second Team honors for the first time.
