KENOSHA, Wis. -- The East Stroudsburg women's cross country team closed out a historic season at the 2025 NCAA DII Championship in Kenosha, Wis. on Saturday. This season the team claimed the PSAC Championship title for the first time in program history, finished second at regionals to mark the programs best finish, and competed at nationals for the second consecutive year and third time overall.
The team ran on the Wayne E. Dannehl National XC Course located on the campus of University of Wisconsin Parkside. The Warriors finished 32nd out of 34 teams scoring 862 points, matching last year's finish and averaged a time of 22:53.8.
Junior
Payton Falkenstein crossed the line first for the Warriors with a time of 22:12.1. Freshman
Sarah Williams finished 18 seconds later at 22:30.4, and sophomore
Riley Trentowski rounded out the top three runners with her 22:54.0 time. In the 23rd minute, junior
Carla Bautista finished in 23:15.5 and junior
Mia Sisilli ran a 23:36.0 time. Sophomore
Kiera Wimbush crossed the line at 24:03.7 and rounding out the runners was junior
Gabriela Orama with a time of 25:12.3.
