COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its 2025 Collegiate Senior Team, with
Emma Friend,
Kerry Kaufman, and
Charlotte Simon earning spots.
The NFHCA named 36 seniors across Division II field hockey to its Senior Team. East Stroudsburg was one of four teams to place three seniors on the list, joining Assumption, Newberry, and West Chester. Last year, the Warriors only had one honoree make the team in
Jady van Gils.
Simon has racked up the accolades across her final two seasons, making the All-PSAC First and Second Teams this year and last season and was named a Division II Second Team All-American in 2024 as well. The senior from Germany anchored down a defense that held opponents to 1.06 goals per game, ceded only 7.3 shots per game, and allowed one goal or less 12 times this season.
Kaufman was also a member of the All-PSAC Second Team this season, the second time in her career after earning the honor last year too. and Division II All-American Second Team in 2024, making her second all-conference appearance this season. Kaufman set a career-high in scoring with six goals and seven assists for 19 points, recording three game-winning goals.
Friend was a welcome breakout player on the offensive end of the field for the Warriors, stepping up with 30 points in her final season. After recording 10 points in her first 33 games, she tallied 11 goals and eight assists in 18 games this season. Friend's performance also earned her All-PSAC Third Team honors.
