LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg women's cross country team qualified for the NCAA Championships with a second place finish at the 2025 NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional on Saturday morning at the West Branch Cross Country Course.
The second place finish at regionals marked the team's best in program history, previously placing third at last year's meet. This will be the team's second consecutive year and third time overall qualifying for NCAA Championships, with their first appearance coming in 1999.
The Warriors were ranked second going into the race behind Davin & Elkins, who went on to claim the regional title. Edinboro rounded out the top three teams to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
Payton Falkenstein and
Sarah Williams earned All-Region honors with their respective fifth and ninth place finishes. Williams, Trentowski, and Wimbush all ran personal bests.
