ESU Ranks 31st in Learfield Directors' Cup Fall Standings

CLEVELAND, Ohio — With the conclusion of the fall sports season, East Stroudsburg University came in at 31st in the Learfield Directors' Cup Standings with 145.00 points. The rankings were released Tuesday afternoon by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).
 
ESU ranks fifth in the PSAC behind Gannon (11th place, 196.00 points), Kutztown (13th place, 191.00 points), Shippensburg (25th place, 157.00 points), and West Chester (26th place, 156.00 points). East Stroudsburg is one of 11 PSAC institutions to score in the Directors' Cup Standings, finishing ahead of Indiana (Pa.), Shepherd, California (Pa.), Pitt-Johnstown, Edinboro, and Bloomsburg. ESU is in the exact same place in the standings it was in at the end of the 2024-25 season, which was the highest finish for East Stroudsburg Athletics in Directors' Cup Standings.
 
ESU earned points from its finishes in field hockey, men's and women's cross country, and women's volleyball. ESU volleyball earned the most points with a 17th -place finish, earning 50 points for its 2025 season. The PSAC Champions advanced to the second round of the NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament, earning its first NCAA Tournament win in program history over Charleston (W.Va.). Women's cross country scored 42 more points for the Warriors after winning its first PSAC Championship in team history and finishing 32nd at the NCAA National Championships. Men's cross country added 28 points, finishing second in the conference and fifth at the Atlantic Region Championships, and field hockey rounded out the group with 25 points coming off its 11th-straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
 
The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between NACDA and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships. The standings will update one more time on April 2, 2026 before the final standings are revealed on June 9, 2026.
