EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — In the latest national and regional women's wrestling rankings, the ESU women's wrestling team came in at 11
th in the NWCA poll with three athletes ranked nationally and eight regionally.
The Warriors held their spot as the top team in the Region 2 rankings, earning 78 points in the region. Lehigh, Eastern, and Gannon trail the Warriors with 54, 51, and 50 points, respectively.
Tiffani Baublitz is the highest-ranked Warrior nationally, coming in at second in the 160-pound weight class. Joining her are
Teegan Sibble, ranked seventh at 110 pounds, and Savannah Tittelback, ranked eighth at 124 pounds.
With Baublitz and Sibble first in the region in their weight classes and Tittelback second, five more Warriors earned regional rankings.
Ragan Retell,
Olivia Klein, and
Selina Moore held their previous spots of first, second, and fourth place in the 138-pound, 103-pound, and 145-pound weight classes, while
Yianna Foufas moved up to third in the 117-pound class and
Gianna Amendola came in at fifth in the 131-pound class.
The Warriors take on Delaware State and Lehigh in a tri-meet tonight at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Lehigh, Pa.
