YORK, Pa. - The Warriors have their first conference champion since 1979, as
Vera Renshof becomes the first woman in the school's history to win the 200-yd freestyle.

How It Happened - Session 3
In the 100-yd fly prelims, senior
Avery Fohring had the fastest time on the day for the warriors with her time of 59.25 seconds. Fohring will return in the second session for the C final.
In the 200-yd freestyle prelims, the history-making relay team from last night all recorded stellar times and advanced to finals races.
The leadoff leg,
Brianna Wasem, nabbed the last qualifying spot by swimming faster than her seed-time and swimming 1:57.34 seconds, advancing to the C final.
The second leg of the relay,
Anna Stauffer, also made the C final by swimming her season's best of 1:56.50 seconds.
The third leg,
Anique Hazebroek, advances to the B final after swimming a personal best of 1:54.96 seconds. This time is now the second fastest in school history.
The anchor leg,
Vera Renshof, leads the way for the group with her time of 1:52.66 seconds. Renshof swam the second fastest time in prelims and returns for the A final tonight.

How It Happened - Session 4
The 200-yd free relay of Hazebroek, Stauffer,
Ava Palochik and Wasem finished tenth place with 1:37.73 seconds. They would narrowly miss the school record of 1:37.49 seconds.

In the 100-yd fly, Fohring swam 59.28 seconds to fly her way into 21st overall.

In the C finals of the 200-yd free style, Stauffer (1:55.57 seconds) would swim a personal best and finish 19th overall. Wasem (1:56.67) battled her way to a season's fastest.

Hazebroek followed up her No. 2 all-time performance with and eleventh place finish in the B finals with 1:55.09.

In record breaking and historic fashion, Renshof claimed victory in the 200-yd freestyle in a new school record of 1:51.23. This is Warrior swimming's first gold medal in an individual event since 1979 when Cathy Crigler won both the 50-yd freestyle and 50-yd fly.

Kennedy Leveto, Fohring and Wasem took eight overall with
