HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The East Stroudsburg University women's tennis team dropped its opening match at the PTR Spring Tennis Fest, falling 5-2 to Chowan University.
With the loss, the Warriors move to 4-3 on the season and will look to bounce back against Catholic University on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. at Cordillo Courts.

No. 1 Doubles:
Louise Boyer-Vidal and
Marketa Beladova earned a hard-fought 7-5 victory over Aime Vera and Selene Kentish.
No. 2 Doubles:
Ariel Kelsick and
Lea Stefanovic fell 6-2 to Olivia Schoone and Sreshta Puducheri.
No. 3 Doubles:
Bega Gotor and
Claudia Ermina were defeated 6-2 by Isabella Turner and Feidi Abreu Rodriguez.

No. 1 Singles:
Marketa Beladova claimed a gritty three-set win over Feidi Abreu Rodriguez, 6-0, (6) 6-7, 10-4.
No. 2 Singles:
Louise Boyer-Vidal fell to Aime Vera 6-3, 6-1.
No. 3 Singles:
Ariel Kelsick battled but dropped a close match, 7-6, 6-3, against Sreshta Puducheri.
No. 4 Singles: Chowan's Selene Kentish topped
Gianina Speranza 6-4, 6-1.
No. 5 Singles:
Lea Stefanovic secured her second win of the season with a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Olivia Schoone.
No. 6 Singles:
Bega Gotor fell 6-3, 6-4 to Isabella Turner.
