HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The East Stroudsburg University women's tennis team defeated Albany State 6-1 to win its second straight match at the PTR Spring Tennis Fest.
Despite dropping the doubles point, ESU bounced back to sweep the singles matches as they continue their strong spring start.

No. 1 Doubles:
Marketa Beladova and
Louise Boyer-Vidal fell to Natalya Ogunwale and Jenny Zapien, 6-3.
No. 2 Doubles:
Lea Stefanovic and
Ariel Kelsick lost 6-3 against Jonay Brittain and Julie Tungamirai.
No. 3 Doubles:
Bega Gotor and
Claudia Ermina picked up the lone doubles victory for the Warriors, winning 6-1 over Kennedy Talbert and Mykala Eckler.
How It Happened – Singles
No. 1 Singles:
Marketa Beladova, who was down 1-4 in the first set, came back to win 6-4 before taking the second set 4-1 over Natalya Ogunwale.
No. 2 Singles:
Lea Stefanovic secured a 6-4, 6-2 win over Jonay Brittain.
No. 3 Singles:
Louise Boyer-Vidal earned her team-leading seventh singles victory with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Julie Tungamirai.
No. 4 Singles:
Ariel Kelsick maintained composure after dropping the first set, rallying to win 6-3 and then 10-5 to defeat Jenny Zapien.
No. 5 Singles:
Bega Gotor dominated her match, winning 6-0, 6-1 against Mykala Eckler.
No. 6 Singles:
Gianina Speranza's match against Kennedy Talbert went down to the wire, with Speranza winning the deciding set 10-6.
