MANHEIM, Pa. – After another stellar season on the mat—one in which the East Stroudsburg University women's wrestling team won the Pennsylvania State Championship for the third consecutive year and placed 16th at the NCWWC National Championship—the National Wrestling Coaches Association announced that 14 Warriors earned NCAA Scholar All-America honors.
ESU's total ranks fifth among all schools represented.
Earning NCAA Scholar All-America status for ESU are

Gabrielle Baker,
Alanna Barberio,
Tiffani Baublitz,
Zoe Gress,
Angelina Hiller,
Waverly KaneLong,
Emily Klein,
Olivia Klein,
Jackeline Ramos-Oviedo,
Angelica Ramos-Oviedo,
Ruth Rivera,
Isabella Washington-Vasquez and
Carney Wyble.
A total of 400 scholar-athletes from across the nation were recognized.
"The NWCA is proud to honor these outstanding individuals who demonstrate excellence on the mat and in the classroom as well," NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer said in a release.
To be selected, student-athletes must meet one of the following academic and athletic criteria: place in the top eight at nationals with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, compete in a minimum of 15 matches recorded in Trackwrestling with at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, or qualify for nationals with at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA.
The NWCA will announce team awards at a later date.
