WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University tennis team continued their strong form, securing a commanding 6-1 victory over Wilkes University on Thursday afternoon.
With the win, the Warriors improved to 9-4, marking their best start since 2010. The victory also extends their current winning streak to three matches.
How It Happened in Doubles
- In No. 1 doubles, the dynamic European duo of Louise Boyer-Vidal (Paris, France) and Bega Gotor (Cariñena, Spain) claimed a hard-fought 7-5 win over Tea Amerise and Sydney Farmer.
- The freshman pairing of Claudia Ermina and Gianina Speranza impressed in No. 2 doubles with a convincing 6-2 victory against Kensington Edmond and Ava Vacula.
- In No. 3 doubles, Maya Jackson and Jazmine Parker battled but fell to Isabella Schreffler and Julia Spaeth 6-4.

- In No. 1 singles, Lea Steafanovic dominated her match, defeating Tea Amerise 6-1, 6-0.
