About the Warriors: The Warriors have set seven new school records this season, spanning both career and single-season achievements. Sophomore pitcher Sarah Davenport leads the charge, holding records for career strikeouts (643), single-season shutouts (9) and single-season wins (27). Abigail Weirich has also made her mark, setting records for career stolen bases (119), career RBIs (152) and total bases in a single season (114).
East Stroudsburg ranks fourth in the conference with a team batting average of .318, led by Weirich hitting .411 and closely followed by Tatum Kresley at .405.
The Coach: The Warriors are led by head coach Jaime Wohlbach, in her 10th season, alongside assistant coaches Sami Britton, Bo Vicendese, Erica Molinaro and graduate assistant Lexi Wright. This coaching staff has guided ESU to its third consecutive 40-win season.
A Look Ahead: The winner of this game advances to play at 10 a.m. on May 1 against the winner of No. 2 Gannon and No. 3 Shepherd. The losing team will play at 12:30 p.m. on May 1.
