East Stroudsburg, PA. — East Stroudsburg University quarterback Sean McTaggart has been named one of the record-breaking 197 nominees for the prestigious 2025 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®, an honor that celebrates college football student-athletes for their exceptional commitment to community service and leadership off the field.

McTaggart, a redshirt senior from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has not only led the Warriors with standout performances on the gridiron—including over 2,500 passing yards and 26 touchdowns last season—but has also made a lasting impact in his community. His nomination places him among a select group of athletes recognized for tackling issues such as youth mentorship, mental wellness, and homelessness.

The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®, now in its 34th year, honors student-athletes from across all divisions of college football. Final selections will be announced this fall, with 23 honorees chosen by a panel of former recipients, coaches, and journalists.
