East Stroudsburg Ranked Second in PSAC East Preseason Poll

8/7/2025 1:51:00 PM

East Stroudsburg, Pa — The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its 2025 preseason football coaches poll this week, placing East Stroudsburg University second in the Eastern Division. The ranking follows a standout 2024 season in which the Warriors posted a 10–2 overall record and went 6–1 in conference play.

The high preseason placement reflects both team-wide success and individual achievement. East Stroudsburg returns six players who earned All-PSAC Eastern Division honors in 2024. On offense, placekicker Ty Quintois was named to the First Team, while tight end Beau Heyser earned Second Team recognition. Defensively, defensive back Everette Dingle was selected to the First Team as well as the All-Super Region First Team, with defensive lineman Jake Williamson, defensive back Malachi Bowman, and punter Adam Noll named to the Second Team.

East Stroudsburg's offense led the PSAC in scoring and total production last season, finishing first in total offense and rushing. The Warriors amassed 2,402 rushing yards and scored 53 total touchdowns, showcasing a balanced and explosive attack.

On defense, the team ranked third in total defense and allowed just 15.9 points per game, one of the stingiest marks in the conference. The unit also recorded 12 interceptions and forced 10 fumbles, consistently shifting momentum and creating scoring opportunities.

Looking ahead to the 2025 season, several returning players are expected to play key roles. Quarterback Sean McTaggart will lead the offense, supported by a strong front line anchored by offensive linemen Hunter Seubert and Pat Reynolds. Wide receiver Evan Roche adds dynamic playmaking ability to the passing game. On defense, Ashton Blose and Terrell Reynolds bring added depth and intensity to an already formidable unit.

The Warriors will open their 2025 campaign on September 7, aiming to build on last season's momentum and contend for the PSAC East title.
