SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The ESU men's wrestling season came to a close at the NCAA Championships, as
Luke Ciampa was knocked out of the 184-pound weight bracket.
Ciampa came into the tournament as the ninth seed in his class, drawing the top-seeded Cole Glazier from St. Cloud State. Ciampa dropped his first match in an 11-2 major decision, getting bumped to the consolation bracket. There, he wrestled the eight seed Dylan Kohn, falling 10-0 by major decision.
Ciampa became the 17
th wrestler in program history to qualify for the NCAA Championships this season, finishing his career with the fourth-most wins in ESU history with 101.
