EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The ESU men's wrestling team competed in the NCAA Super Region 1 Championships, with Luke Ciampa qualifying for the NCAA Championships with a second-place finish in the 184-pound weight class.
 
NOTABLES

• Ciampa had quite the day for the Warriors, earning a trip to the national tournament while winning his 100^th career match. After a first-round bye to advance to the quarterfinals, he won by technical fall against Frostburg State's Andrew Wolfanger, making it to the finals by beating Cole Casilio by an 8-5 decision.
• Ciampa became the fourth wrestler in program history to reach 100 career wins, earning his first entry to the NCAA Championships of his career as well. It's the first national qualifier for the Warriors since Layton Schmick two years ago in the 285-pound weight class, and his highest finish at the regional tournament after finishing in fifth, fourth, and sixth place the last three seasons.
