Warriors Shut Out Bald Eagles

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — In the early Saturday matchup between ESU and Lock Haven, the Warriors came out on top in a complete shutout, not allowing the Bald Eagles to take a single game. This win elevates the team to 9-4 on the season, 6-1 for the spring.

HOW IT HAPPENED
ESU kicked off doubles action a match ahead, as the duo of Jazmine Parker and Katrina Ricci won by default. Jenna Kastell and Ariel Kelsick sparked a string of incredible performances for the Warriors with a 6-0 win, followed by Theresa Bauer and Lea Stefanovic doing the same in their match, locking the doubles sweep for ESU.

The Warriors showed no sign of slowing down heading into singles matchups with Audrey Conover playing her first match at the top of the lineup. The freshman won both sets 6-0, a trend ESU would continue to follow. Alice Ehrenlechner, Bega Gotor, and Nia Vivas Montoya would all go on to shut out each of their opponents as well. Parker and Ricci rounded out the lineup with wins by default, giving ESU the 7-0 victory.
