CLEVELAND, Ohio — With the winter sports season nearly wrapped up across NCAA Division II, East Stroudsburg University moved up to 25
th overall in the Learfield Directors' Cup Standings with 297.50 points. The updated standings were released Thursday morning by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).
After finishing the fall season ranked 31
st overall and fifth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), ESU moved up six spots and ahead of three of its conference rivals. Gannon is the lone team from the PSAC ranked ahead of ESU, moving from 11
th to 10
th place in the winter with 366.00 points. The next closest PSAC institution is Indiana (Pa.) (29
th place, 294.00 points), followed by Kutztown (41
st place, 245.00 points) and West Chester (45
th place, 236.50 points). East Stroudsburg finished the 2024-25 season ranked 31
st, which was its highest finish ever in the Learfield Directors' Cup.
East Stroudsburg added 152.50 points this winter season from its team finishes in women's wrestling, women's indoor track & field, and men's indoor track & field. Women's wrestling led the way with 67.50 points after finishing 10
th at the NCAA Championships. The Warriors qualified five wrestlers for the tournament, with Tiffani Baublitz and Teegan Sibble earning All-American honors. For the women's indoor track & field team, Shannon Harnett and Porschia Bennett earned First Team All-American in the high jump, with the former finishing as the national runner-up. The duo's performance helped ESU add 50.00 points with a 24
th-place team finish. On the men's side, Anthony Voto brought home a fifth-place finish in the weight throw, also earning First Team All-American honors and 35.00 more points for East Stroudsburg.
The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between NACDA and
USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in the NCAA Championships. The standings will be finalized on June 9, 2026.
