ESU Notes
- East Stroudsburg enters the weekend with a 20-12 overall record and an 8-6 mark in conference play, riding a four-game winning streak.
- The Warriors swept Bloomsburg and Mansfield last week, outscoring their opponents 20-0. The four consecutive shutouts mark the longest streak in program history.
- ESU has earned five PSAC weekly awards this season. Sarah Davenport has been named Pitcher of the Week twice, while Megan Chroniger, Delaney Ridgell, and Katie Master have each earned Athlete of the Week honors.
- Kinsley Proepper ranks second in the conference with a .460 batting average. She also sits sixth in hits (40), seventh in doubles (9), and has scored 21 runs this season.
- Ridgell is second on the team with a .389 batting average and ranks sixth in the PSAC in home runs (7), seventh in runs (24), and ninth in hits (37).
- Chroniger ranks fourth in the conference with 29 RBIs and leads the PSAC with five triples.
- Tulana Mingin has gone 15-for-18 in stolen base attempts, ranking fourth in the league.
- Davenport is second in the conference with a 1.64 ERA and 146 strikeouts, allowing just 28 runs over 107.0 innings pitched.
- Tessa Guenette enters the weekend at 8-2 with a 2.65 ERA across 63.1 innings.
History
- The Warriors last faced Shippensburg on March 20, dropping both games by scores of 8-3 and 6-4.
- Ridgell and Chroniger each recorded four hits in the doubleheader. In game one, ESU trailed 4-3 after five innings before Shippensburg pulled away with four runs in the sixth. Raiders pitcher Dani Hayward struck out seven and allowed three runs on 10 hits.
- In game two, ESU took a 4-3 lead in the fourth inning, but Shippensburg responded with three runs to secure the win. Guenette recorded five strikeouts in the contest.
- The Warriors split a doubleheader with Shepherd on March 21, winning game one 4-2 before falling 3-1 in game two.
- Proepper and Gigi DeMito both homered in the opener, while Davenport struck out 14.
- In game two, Shepherd used a three-run home run to take control, while ESU managed just one run.

- The Raiders enter the matchup 20-10 overall and 8-6 in conference play. They are also on a four-game winning streak after sweeping Kutztown on Saturday and Bowie State on Tuesday.
- Shippensburg ranks second in the PSAC in batting average (.327), runs (183), homeruns (27), and RBIs (164). They lead the league in doubles with 60 and hits with 280.
- Defensively, they have committed just 18 errors this season, ranking fourth nationally in fielding percentage.
- Reagan Bauman leads the team in batting average (.382), runs (24), and RBIs (24), while she is second in hits (34).
- Caitlyn Martell leads the team with 38 hits and carries an eight-game hitting streak. She has totaled eight doubles, three home runs, and 17 RBIs.
- Dani Hayward ranks sixth in the PSAC with a 2.12 ERA and holds a 13-3 record. She recently reached 100 strikeouts in 109.0 innings pitched.
Shepherd Notes
- The Rams enter the weekend 13-12 overall and 8-5 in conference play. Tthey swept West Chester on Friday before splitting against Millersville on Saturday.
- Shepherd will travel to Bloomsburg on Friday before facing ESU on Saturday.
- After a standout week, Madelayne Ruffner earned both the PSAC and Wilson/NFCA Division II Pitcher of the Week honors. Ruffner appeared in five games and owned a 3-0 record and earned a save. She struck out 40 batters in 19 innings pitched, gave up just four hits, and didn't allow a single run. Ruffner delivered a single-game program record of 19 strikeouts in the first game against Millersville.
- Haylee Hartman leads the team with a .426 batting average, recording 29 hits, 11 RBIs, and 14 walks. She hit home runs in both games against West Chester.
- Cate Russian leads the team in runs (17) and doubles (9) and is second in hits (26).
- As a team, Shepherd ranks 14th in the PSAC in batting average (.277) with 184 hits and has scored 90 runs through 25 games.
- However, the Rams lead the nation in strikeouts per seven innings with 8.27 and are eighth in hits allowed per seven innings (5.47).
