Kauffman, Atwell Named All-Americans By IWLCA

5/20/2026 3:00:00 PM

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) released its 2026 All-American Teams, with Sadie Kauffman and Molly Atwell earning recognition from the organization.

Kauffman, a member of the First Team, and Atwell, an honoree of the Third Team, were both named to the IWLCA All-Atlantic Region First Team last week. This is Kauffman's second time being named an All-American by the IWLCA, her first on the First Team, and Atwell's first in her career.

With 106 goals and 32 assists, Kauffman is the current Division II leader in both goals and points heading into the national semifinals. In last week's quarterfinal game, Kauffman broke her own single-season records for goals and points, doing so in each of her first two seasons at ESU.

The IWLCA has named her the Division II Offensive Athlete of the Week two times this year, while Atwell earned the defensive award after her play in the NCAA Second Round. Atwell, who was named a Third Team Preseason All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine, also earned All-American honors from the publication as well. The team's leader in caused turnovers with 36, Atwell is also second on the team with 40 ground balls and 78 draw controls.

The next announcement coming from the IWLCA will be the release of its Division II Player of the Year. The winner will be announced next Tuesday, May 26.
