EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — With the football team coming out of a bye, men's and women's cross country opening their seasons this week, and field hockey hitting its stride, the ESU Coaches Show is back with a full schedule for tonight at 5 p.m. from Teddy's University.
 
Host Chuck Seese welcomes HC Jimmy Terwilliger back to the table to look ahead to the Warriors' first game after the bye week, this Saturday at home against Lackawanna. The defense looks to bounce back as well, as it's in a good spot facing a Falcons offense that has turned the ball over 14 times in three games. Junior LB Camerin Gross and junior DB Armonie Torres will talk to Seese about their increased roles this year and how they can help ESU get back in the win column.
 
After the women's cross country team won the PSAC Championship and the men's team finished as runners-up last year, both look to cement their spots at the top of the conference. HC Adam Mengel brings senior Mia Sisilli and sophomore Riley Trentowski from the women's team, and junior Andrew Tatesure and senior Liam Hansberry on the men's side to the show to talk about each team's strong finish in 2025 and high expectations for this season.
 
Six games into the ESU field hockey season, the Warriors are 6-0 with four shutouts. HC Katie Ord talks to Seese about the jump from assistant coach to head coach, with both captains, fifth-year Elaiana Rivera-Lagalla and senior Rylie McGrath, also joining the show about what's worked on the field for the Warriors as they prepare to enter conference play.
 
Capping off the show, Student Assistant AJ Moncman and Seese will conclude the program with AJ's View.
