Junior (2026): Appeared in 16 games, all out of the bullpen... Posted a 5.06 ERA with a 4-1 record across 16.0 IP... Ranked third on the team with two saves... Picked up first win of the season by the final out in the top of the 7th against Millersville, stranding a runner on base in ESU's walk-off win (March 21)... Recorded a save in back-to-back appearances against Bloomsburg (April 4) and Mansfield (April 10)... Matched his longest outing of the season with 2.0 IP at Shepherd, striking out two and not allowing a run.
Sophomore (2025): Johansel Brito served as a key bullpen contributor during the 2025 season, appearing in 26 games and logging 39.2 innings. The right-hander posted a 4.08 ERA and held opponents scoreless in 17 of those outings, finishing with 24 strikeouts and a 1-1 record.
Brito’s best performance came in a 4.1-inning relief win over Shippensburg on April 14, allowing just two earned runs while striking out a season-high four batters. He also recorded multiple strikeouts in appearances against Shepherd (Apr. 18) and Mansfield (Apr. 3), and pitched a hitless 1.1 innings in a postseason win over Northwood (June 1).
He was at his sharpest late in the year, tossing scoreless frames in five of his last seven outings. Brito wrapped the season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, assisting on seven plays and turning one double play.
