Sophomore (2026): Stepped up as ESU's top reliever, earning All-Region honors from the NCBWA and the D2CCA, and making the All-PSAC East Second Team... Went 2-0 across 15 appearances all out of the bullpen... Threw 30.1 IP and posted a 1.19 ERA with 33 strikeouts... Had the lowest ERA on the team among the top-nine pitchers in terms of innings pitched... Made first appearance of the season against Molloy with two shutout innings and a pair of strikeouts (Feb. 14)... Went 2.2 IP with three strikeouts in a scoreless outing against Pitt-Johnstown (Feb. 20)... Only allowed one earned run in his final nine appearances, starting at Bloomsburg with 2.0 IP and a strikeout (April 3)... Went 3.0 IP with two strikeouts versus Mansfield (April 10)... Tied his career-high in three of his final four appearances of the season with five strikeouts, the first one coming at Shepherd in 2.1 IP (April 23)... Pitched 5.0 IP with five strikeouts in ESU's 11-inning win in the PSAC Quarterfinals over Gannon (May 7)... Recorded five strikeouts against Bloomsburg in a 3.1 IP outing in the NCAA Atlantic Regional (May 14).
Freshman (2025): Cole Dymek solidified his role as a reliable and versatile reliever in the 2025 season, working 36.1 innings across 21 appearances and posting an impressive 3.72 ERA. He compiled five wins, struck out 39 batters, and limited opponents to 33 hits while steadily managing the pace of the game from the mound.
Dymek’s signature performance came on March 14 against Southern New Hampshire, where he delivered a season-high 4.0 shutout innings with four strikeouts and no walks. He also notched four strikeouts in key postseason showdowns, including a standout 3.2-inning effort vs. Millersville (May 1) and a clean two-inning appearance vs. West Chester (May 17).
Demonstrating adaptability under pressure, Dymek allowed zero earned runs in 13 of his outings and gave up no hits in five appearances. He was especially clutch late in the season, pitching 5.0 scoreless innings in the NCAA Regional round. I
