2024–25 Season Highlights: Cassidy Saylor made valuable contributions in a reserve role, appearing in 15 games and averaging 2.1 points and 1.0 rebounds per contest. Saylor scored a season-high 10 points at Mansfield (Feb. 22), going 4-of-9 from the field and a perfect 2-for-2 at the line.
Saylor also tallied a season-best 21 minutes and 2 assists in the PSAC Tournament game at Bloomsburg (Mar. 3), while grabbing 3 rebounds vs. Edinboro (Dec. 8). Always reliable on both ends, she closed the year shooting 37.8% from the field and 100% from the free-throw line.
Junior (2023-2024) (Season Stats): Named to CSC Academic All-Distric Team... played in 27 games, making 11 starts… averaged 5.3 points, 0.8 assists, 3.4 rebounds in 20.2 minutes played per game… matched career-high 18 points at Lock Haven (2/14)… 11 rebounds vs Staten Island (11/18)… 6 assists at Shepherd (1/6)… 3 blocks vs Indiana (PA) (12/30)… totaled 144 points, 22 assists, 91 rebounds, 13 blocks and 9 steals in 546 minutes played.
Sophomore (2022-23) (Season Stats): Played in 25 games, making 20 starts ... averaged 5.7 points and 2.9 rebounds in 19.9 minutes per game ... totaled 143 points, 73 rebounds, 11 assists, 11 steals and 10 blocks in 497 minutes ... registered a career-high 18 points (8-for-10 FT) at IUP (1/28) ... grabbed a career-best 9 rebounds at Kutztown (1/23) ... played 40 minutes vs. Slippery Rock (12/30) ... notched five additional double digit scoring efforts including 14 vs. Virginia Union (11/12), 16 vs. Pitt-Johnstown (12/3), 13 vs. Slippery Rock (12/30), 17 at Kutztown (1/23) and 10 vs. Lock Haven (1/26) ... shot a perfect 7-for-7 overall against Pitt-Johnstown (12/3) ... helped the Warriors return to the PSAC Tournament for the first time since 2019-20.
At Wagner (2021-22): Played in six contests… Made her Wagner debut at home against New Hampshire (Nov. 28)... Attempted three shots on the season, one three-pointer (at FDU | Jan. 17) and two free throw attempts at home against Central Connecticut (Feb. 3)... Grabbed a rebound in three games, the last coming at LIU (Feb. 5) ... named to the Northeast Conference (NEC) Winter Academic Honor Roll and Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Background: Played three seasons at Easton Area High School before transferring to Bethlehem Catholic… In her junior year for Easton, she averaged 13.2 points per game, 1.9 assists per game and 4.5 rebounds while being named to the EPC All-League First Team and LehighValleyLive All-Area Second Team… Had 15 games in which she went for double-figures while eclipsing the 20-point plateau five times, highlighted by a season-best 25-point performance in a 51-35 victory over Nazareth back on Dec. 28, 2019… Increased her scoring production between her first and second years, averaging 12.1 ppg, 5.2 rpg and 1.7 apg in her second season en route to being named EPC All-League Second Team… Was also a member of the Golden Hawks volleyball and lacrosse programs… In the classroom, three-time National Honor Society Member while earning High Honor Roll accolades in every marking period… Member of the Spanish Honor Society in her junior year… Helped Easton’s lacrosse team to the 2018 league championship… Played for United NJ AAU ... majoring in communications at ESU.
