Kevin Woodbridge is in his third year as an assistant coach for the ESU baseball program during the 2012 season. He served his first two seasons as the graduate assistant under head coach John Kochmansky and assists pitching coach Bob Shebelsky with the Warriors' pitchers. He also assists with recruiting and the day-to-day operations of the program.
Woodbridge resides in Bangor, PA and played baseball at Bangor High School before moving on to Arcardia University, where he was a pitcher for four years and team captain as a senior when the squad made the first postseason appearance in school history. He ranks in the top 10 in school history in ERA, appearances and saves and went his final 41 appearances without a loss from early in his sophomore year until the end of his senior season.
He was an assistant coach at Arcadia for four years before taking over as head coach in 2007, when he led his team to the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference regular season title (24-12, 17-4) to receive PAC Coach of the Year honors. He was the youngest coach of the year award recipient in conference history and guided a pitching staff that lowered the school record for ERA by more than a full run (3.67) and allowed four home runs in 277 innings.
