Jayme Galdieri

Dr. Jayme Galdieri, LAT, ATC

Jayme Galdieri joined the Warriors Sports Medicine Department in 2017. His sports responsibilities include Football, Baseball, Golf, Tennis, and Swimming. He also serves as a preceptor for the University’s Athletic Training Education Program.

Dr. Galdieri comes to ESU from the Geisinger Health System, where he has worked at Misericordia University since January 2006. From 2012 until his departure, he served as the head athletic trainer for the football program. He had also been a preceptor through King's College.

Dr. Galdieri has been involved with Special Olympics Pennsylvania as a medical volunteer since 2002 and has been the Medical Lead for the organization’s Summer Games since 2012. In the Summer of 2022, he served as the Medical Director for Team Pennsylvania and traveled to Orlando for the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games. In the Summer of 2026, Dr. Galdieri again served as Medical Director for Team Pennsylvania at the Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis. 

Dr. Galdieri is a 2005 graduate of King's College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training. He obtained his Master's Degree in Health Care Administration in 2009, again from King’s College. In 2019, he obtained a graduate certificate in Sports Psychology from California University of Pennsylvania. In 2022, he received Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). In 2026, Dr. Galdieri received his Doctorate in Health Sciences from East Stroudsburg University. 

Galdieri resides with his family in the Wyoming Valley.
