Graduate Student (2025): Earned spot on All-PSAC East Offensive Second Team for consecutive seasons... Was one of six Super Region 1 finalists for the Gene Upshaw Award, which goes to the top senior OL in the country... Started all 11 games on ESU OL... Led a unit that led Division II fewest TFLs allowed per game with 2.64, 5th in redzone rushing TDs with 28, 5th in Division II and 1st in the PSAC sack yardage allowed with 44, 8th in Division II and 1st in the PSAC in sacks allowed with eight, 7th in Division II in rushing TDs with 33, 18th in yards per rush with 5.5, and 25th in Division II with 2,243 rushing yards.
Junior (2024): Guy Gilyard served as a dominant and dependable presence on the edge of East Stroudsburg’s offensive front throughout his senior season. Appearing in all 12 games, Gilyard helped anchor a line that fueled one of the PSAC’s top rushing attacks and provided consistent pass protection. His physicality and footwork were crucial in key wins over Shepherd (Nov. 9) and California (Pa.) (Nov. 23), the latter marking the Warriors’ return to postseason play. Recognized for his on-field performance, Gilyard earned a spot on the All-PSAC East Second Team, closing his career as a cornerstone of ESU’s offensive success.
Sophomore (2023): Made in 11 of 12 games, missing game at Kutztown to injury … helped pave the way for All-PSAC East running back Tyriq Lewis, with the Warriors sporting the third best rushing offense in the PSAC ... helped the Warriors to make an NCAA appearance since 2009.
Freshman (2022): Appeared in all 11 games, starting the final nine games of the season ... major factor in helping ESU rank third in the PSAC in red zone offense, sixth in sacks allowed and third in tackles for loss allowed.
