East Stroudsburg University Athletics

Eric Rigg is now in his fifth year within collegiate athletics and third year leading the business operations for the athletic department.

In his current role, Eric Rigg manages the department’s finances. He oversees budgeting, financial reporting, tracks expenses, handles purchasing, manages per diem payments, organizes team travel, and coordinates payroll for student employees and graduate assistants. Rigg has increased the departments corporate sponsors and built strong relationships in the community. 

Outside of his main responsibilities, Rigg is active on campus and involved in several university events. He serves on committees for Homecoming and Family Weekend, Move-In Weekend, and the University Programming Board, showing his commitment to supporting students and the campus community.

Prior to transitioning to administration, Rigg served as an assistant men’s basketball coach at East Stroudsburg University, where he contributed to a 42–17 team record over two seasons. 

Eric Rigg earned a Master of Science in Management and Leadership in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University in 2023, following a Bachelor of Science in Professional Sales and Marketing from Bloomsburg University in 2021.

He currently resides in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
