East Stroudsburg University Athletics

Eric Rigg is now in his fifth year within collegiate athletics and third year directing business operations for the athletic department.

In his current capacity, he provides strategic leadership over the department’s financial infrastructure, with oversight spanning budget development, expense reconciliation, purchasing compliance, per diem administration, team travel logistics, and payroll coordination for student employees and graduate assistants. He also serves as a key point of contact for corporate sponsorships and has played an integral role in bolstering the department’s annual revenue streams.

Beyond his operational responsibilities, Rigg is deeply embedded in campus life, contributing meaningfully to several university-wide initiatives. He currently holds committee appointments for signature events such as Homecoming and Family Weekend, Move-In Weekend, and the University Programming Board—underscoring his commitment to institutional engagement and student experience.

Prior to transitioning to administration, Rigg served as an assistant men’s basketball coach at East Stroudsburg University, where he contributed to a 42–17 team record over two seasons and played a pivotal role in program development.

Rigg earned a Master of Science in Management and Leadership in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University in 2023, following a Bachelor of Science in Professional Sales and Marketing from Bloomsburg University in 2021.

He currently resides in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
