Evan Bonnaure enters his second season as the graduate assistant for the ESU men's basketball program in 2018-19 after a four-year collegiate playing career at La Roche College.

In his first season on the coaching staff, the Warriors earned their third PSAC championship in the last seven years, and their first NCAA DII Atlantic Region title in program history. ESU finished with a final record of 27-6, including an 18-4 mark against PSAC competition.

Bonnaure was a team captain at La Roche as a senior during the 2016-17 season. He was a key contributor to a program that notched its first 20-win season in nearly a decade and reached the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championship game. During that season he averaged 11.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. He was an all-conference selection, and was also named to the 2017 All-AMCC tournament team.

Bonnaure graduated from La Roche with a bachelor’s degree in history. He was a three-time academic all-conference selection, and a four-year member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Originally a native of Pittsburgh, Bonnaure currently resides in Stroudsburg. He is working towards his master’s degree in exercise science at ESU.
