Brendan Finn is an instructor for the exercise science program and also serves as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at ESU.
Finn teaches a variety of courses primarily at the undergraduate level and assists in overseeing all strength and conditioning, working primarily with men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s lacrosse, and baseball.
Prior to his hiring in 2021, Finn served as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant in 2020 at ESU where he worked with football, women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s soccer, and field hockey.
Finn has also worked in the private sector of strength and conditioning, serving as an intern at both TEST Sport Club, and HealthQuest Fitness where he worked with a wide variety of populations ranging from children and the general population all the way to collegiate and professional athletes.
Finn holds a professional certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
The Hackettstown, New Jersey native attended Bloomsburg University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2019. Finn went on to earn his master’s degree in exercise science with a focus in strength and conditioning in 2020 at East Stroudsburg. Finn is also currently a doctoral student in the Doctoral of Health Science (D.H.Sc.) program at ESU.
