Ahmet Kose enters his first season as assistant men's soccer coach at his alma mater under head coach Rob Berkowitz in 2015.

Kose is a 2003 graduate of ESU and was a four-year starter for the Warriors. He was named to the All-PSAC first team as a sophomore in 1999, and was the PSAC Tournament MVP as a senior in 2001. He was a starter on four straight PSAC championship and NCAA Division II Tournament teams, including the 2000 team which advanced to the Final Four.

Kose came to ESU from Illinois Tech, where he was head coach of the women's soccer program for two seasons, compiling a record of 16-20-1. He was also the school's Sports Information Director.

In 2014, Kose led his team to a school record for wins (11-6), produced two USCAA All-America selections and a No. 17 ranking in the final national poll. The team also set program records for most goals in a season, lowest goals against average and most shutouts. In his first season in 2013, Kose helped the Scarlet Knights improve their win total from the previous season, finishing 5-14-1.

Prior to Illinois Tech, Kose was head coach at College of St. Elizabeth in his home state of New Jersey. After inheriting a 3-13 squad in 2009, he helped the program gain relevance in the North Eastern Athletic Conference. He coached seven All-Conference players during his time at CSE.

Kose's post-collegiate playing career included time with the Division I Turkish club Malatyasport, a few seasons in the PDL and the Pocono Snow of hte NPSL.

Kose graduated from ESU with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education, and earned his Master's in Sport Management in 2009. He has National and Advanced National Diplomas from the NSCAA and is USSF certified.
