Patrick Long, a 2008 graduate of Lock Haven University and a highly decorated player for the Bald Eagles, is in his second year at ESU. He was the Warriors' graduate assistant under head coach Jerry Sheska last year and is an assistant coach this season.

Long earned numerous honors during his final two seasons in 2005 and 2006. He was a two-time member of the All-PSAC first team, a two-time member of the All-Northeast Region team, and was a team captain both seasons. He was a third team Academic All-American following his senior year and was a three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete.

Long earned an NCAA Degree Completion scholarship in 2007-08 and was a student assistant for the Bald Eagles while completing his bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Social Studies with a minor in Coaching.

He is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and has extensive camp experience, including a stint as an assistant coach for the Central Pennsylvania ODP in 2008.
