NCAA DII Atlantic Region Championship (2023) • NFCA Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year (2023)
Erica Molinaro enters her fourth season as assistant coach for the Warriors in 2024.
Since re-joining her alma mater for the 2021 season, ESU has been on a tear at the conference, region and national level, combining for a 107 record. ESU has matched or set new records for wins in a single season in each of her three seasons, with the Warriors making history in 2023 with its first NCAA DII Atlantic Region Championship in program history. Molinaro, a former Warrior pitcher, helped guide Paige Zigmund single-season records for wins (26-6) and strikeouts (186) with Zigmund torching the competition in the postseason with a 0.93 ERA and a .189 batting average in 45 innings during the NCAA Tournament.
Along with ESU's 44 wins in 2023, the Warriors posted a then program-record 34 wins in 2022 and matched its program record of 29 wins in 2021 with a regional runner-up appearance.
Molinaro was most recently a graduate assistant at La Salle University since August 2020, working with the pitching staff and assisting in the recruiting process. She has also been a coach for the Pocono Predators since May 2019, and has worked for US Sports Camps since June 2017.
Molinaro, a native of Stroudsburg, appeared in 34 games and made 12 starts in the circle for ESU from 2017 through 2019. She graduated from ESU in August 2020 with a bachelor's degree in psychology, and a minor in sports and exercise psychology. She was a two-time member of the Dean's List.
